47 Great Photography RSS Feeds

47 Great Photography RSS Feeds

Pillowy Sky LargeSince I first started using it back in November 2006, Google Reader has completely changed the way I consume information. I currently subscribe to over 500 RSS feeds which enables me to easily browse almost 1500 items and articles a day. Within those 500 feeds are about 75 photography feeds. These feeds encompass everything from how to break into the photography business to lighting tips to camera reviews to photos from some of the best photographers on the web. These feeds have helped me enormously in building my skillset, providing inspiration, and intensifying my passion for the art. So, I thought I’d share these feeds with all of you in the hope that you will have as much fun going through them as I have.

RSSI’ve added a little blurb to some of the more notable feeds in the list. If there is no blurb, it doesn’t mean the site isn’t any good… It simply means I probably just discovered it (while researching this very article) and I am still getting a feel for the content. If there are any sites that you believe deserve a mention, please let me know in the comments… In the future, I plan on posting a Part 2 to this list. There are simply too many great photographers on the web to get them all in one list.

I have provided all the feeds below in a downloadable OPML file for easy importing into your favorite RSS reader…

  12. Great post, and great blog…

I use Thunderbird for my RSS at present - but I think it might be worth giving Google Reader a go..

On an unrelated point - it takes a stupidly small amount of credit to advertise on your blog using Entrecard. Move your entrecard to above the fold (if you can find room)- this makes a big difference!

  13. @Jordan: I would highly recommend Google Reader… Especially if you’re only using Thunderbird now. It’ll change your life! As for Entrecard, I’ve thought about that… I have to fix the stylesheet for this theme so it works properly in IE first. Then I might consider moving the Entrecard ad.

    Thanks!

  14. Thanks for putting this list together. I just added a rss feature on my gallery2 photo site and I was looking for other photo rss examples. I came across your site. Thanks again. Great List
