February Photo Challenge: Colors

February Photo Challenge: Colors

It’s February 2nd, which means a new monthly challenge has begun over at PhotoChallenge.org. The task of those participating is to pick a color each week and then come up with three photos where that color overwhelms the image. From the announcement:

“I’ve decided to pursue a Color Theory challenge. What is Color Theory? Well, for our purposes it is basically making a concerted effort to capture an image with one single color overwhelming the majority of the image. Basically, your photo should be primarily one color. Be creative though, I’d love to see photos that capture a color in a new and unorthodox way.” (link)

Make sure you join the PhotoChallenge Flickr group and, whether you upload your images to Flickr or Zooomr, be sure to tag your photos with “februarychallenge” and “februarychallenge2008″.

My color for the first week is blue… I look forward to seeing all your photos!
