Photowalk: West Bank
Back in 2005, I traveled to the West Bank to do some work with children on a refugee camp in the Palestinian city of Nablus. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. This year, in June, I am returning to the same camp. However, this year, I’m much more into photography than I was last time and I can’t wait to take some photos over there.
As it turns out, a friend of mine in the West Bank has also recently caught the photography bug. So, I’m planning on organizing a photowalk through the city of Nablus on one of the days where we are not working at the camp. I’m very excited!
You can learn more about the workcamp in which I will be participating here.
You can also see photos from my last trip here.
So, if you’re in Nablus or will be in Nablus between the 14th and the 30th of June and you have a camera, I look forward to photowalking with you! More details coming soon…

Disclaimer: I understand that the issue of Israel/Palestine is very controversial and that many people are extremely passionate about their position and beliefs. That’s fine. However, I can assure you that this volunteer work is non-political and non-violent in nature. This is about photowalking as a hobby, meeting photographers from other countries, and photographing a place not many people get to see first-hand. Please make sure your comments are appropriate.
