St. Patty’s Day Parade in Pittsburgh!
I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA and I happen to Irish… So, this weekend I’ll be traveling home to the Steel City to enjoy the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day parade! If there are any photographers from Pittsburgh reading this, I’d highly encourage you to come out and photograph the event! There are a ton of photo opportunities and, as long as you look comfortable and confident, the police won’t stop you from walking through the parade itself taking photos… With a big enough camera and lens, they’ll just assume you’re supposed to be there. After all, what idiot would spend thousands of dollars on photo equipment if they weren’t making money from it? Hehe…
Anyway, if you’re in Pittsburgh on Saturday morning, hit me up on Twitter and we’ll hook up and take some photos! Below is a Google Map of the general area where I’ll be… Stop by for a drink and a bite!

I hope to see you there!!

Looks like a good time Shawn. I remember marching in 3 St. Patrick’s Day Parades in NYC. They were crazy affairs, but alot of fun.

Hahahaha! Yeah, who are those people?
Awesome shots from last year. I love the one of the dancers’ feet and the dad holding his little girl in the blanket.
