Project Cameraphone Winners!
As promised, it’s time to announce the winners of Project Cameraphone! Admittedly, the pool wasn’t as big as I would have liked. However, that doesn’t take away from the quality of the winners. I was blown away by the following entries and the fact that they were taken by cell phone cameras rather than a quality point-and-shoot or DSLR. Well done!

Both great photos in their own right and, even more so when you consider they were taken with a cell phone.

Shawn, thanks for hosting the contest. I think it was a great idea, and there were some awesome shots - all from phones! I may not be able to carry my film camera everywhere I go, but I always have my phone with me….
So, how about the I-phone, after a month? Does it live up to all the hype? It looks to me like it does take good pictures.

Hi sir_gixxer_lot! Congrats again! As for the iPhone… eh… it’s OK with photos. Pretty high resolution but the button is hard to press, the shutter is slow. So definitely not a phone I’d recommend for the camera.
