Photowalking Jerusalem - Day 2
Last night, right as I was about to go to bed, I met up with four of the other volunteers. We ended staying up pretty late talking and getting to know one another. That didn’t stop me from getting up bright and early this morning to continue touring around the Old City of Jerusalem.
Today, we walked the Via Dolorosa, visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western (Wailing) Wall, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock. That’s quite a bit of walking for only half a day…. and quite a few photos! In my first 24 hours here, I have already taken more photos than I took for the entire three weeks I was here last time. Needless to say, when I get home I will be editing photos for months!
Anyway, on to the photos! These are some of my favorites… There are a few more over at Flickr.

You are doing it brother - much more personal, the shots are speaking this time - I love the doorway shot

You’re really starting to put together a really compelling and beautiful story of Jerusalem through your photographs and for that I thank you.
This next part is not mere flatery.
You should seriously consider either; putting all of it together in a book/ trying to get it published in a photo magazine.
Your photography is seems to have gone up a few notches as of late by the way.
Great job.

@Mike: Thanks! I’m definitely “feeling” it more here… The doorway shot is one of my favorites as well. It was one of those times that I could tell even before I took the shot.
@Your Photo Tips: Thank you very much! I am definitely looking at all my options once I get home and have a chance to review all the photos I got while I was here. I’m hoping to put together a book or a portfolio that I can begin pitching to various photo agencies/publications.
Thanks guys!
