A Look Back - Summer 2007

August 13th, 2008 Posted in My Photos

One of the purposes of this blog was to help me track my progress in photography and share it with anyone that was interested. I started posting posts that would revisit photos I took one year ago every month, but with all the travel I’ve done lately, I haven’t posted one of these since March.

So, instead of boring you to tears with five posts in a row, I am compiling some of my favorite shots from the summer of 2007 below.

April 2007

April wasn’t much of a photo month for me but I did take a trip to my hometown of Pittsburgh at the end of the month where I took some photos in the wonderful Strip District:

In May, I mainly have photos from around DC as I went on various solo photowalks around town:

Hallowed Halls

Finally, at the end of May I left for Ireland for a wonderful trip with my father and brother…

Our trip in Ireland continued in early June 2008… Unfortunately, my camera was “lost” by the airlines so, after Ireland, there aren’t any other photos from June.

In July, I got my new Canon 5D so I took it to a number of places to familiarize myself with it, including DC (of course), Baltimore, Annapolis, and home to Pittsburgh to visit my grandmother in the hospital:
