Oh yeah Shawn, definitely use that 50mm The 50mm definitely forces you into a box and forces you to make some decisions. I use it for most of my candids and low-light shooting.

Don’t have time to read the article, but you really, really should take that 50mm and just use that for a couple of days exclusively — say, during one of those photowalks.

Gives you a lot of practice in terms of composing, using your legs instead of zoom and getting a lot more intimate with your gear.

Once you are done with the 50mm, do the same with a 105mm.
