This past Saturday, my father, stepmother, and grandfather came to town to go to the Occoquan Arts Festival. We drove down and met them in the afternoon, though we didn’t stay for very long. Despite that, I still managed to take a few photos…

I honestly can’t say the super-high contrast works for me.
I kinda like the first one, but the massive bridge on the right also seems to be out of place in that shot. Unless you are trying to underscore the contrast between that and the wooden pier, but even then something just doesn’t feel balanced. Sowwy.

I agree that the bridge does seem out of place… I wish it hadn’t been there at all, to be honest. But there’s nothing that I was trying to show per se. Just a photo.
