As I mentioned yesterday, James Nachtwey is releasing some new photos today regarding a problem that, he believes, demands the world’s attention: extremely drug-resistant tuberculosis. You can see his images and learn more about the issue at http://www.xdrtb.org/.
The GNU Image Manipulation Program, or GIMP, has released version 2.6 of its free, open-source Photoshop alternative.

A bunch of links coming at you today… As I’ve been blogging over the last 2 weeks or so, a lot of you have come forward and pointed me toward many fine photo sites and blogs of which I wasn’t previously aware. I want to share some of my new favorites with the rest of you now…

Fresh off the Bethesda photowalk, PhotoWalkPro is planning another DC area photowalk for March 8th.

The Everything Everywhere Travel Blog has some awesome photos and a very cool layout. A must-see!
